Field Service Mechanics | Tractor Technicians | Paget - MackaySouthern Cross Tractors has a great deal more to offer than just being your one stop shop for New Holland Tractors.
From our two convenient locations in Mackay and Proserpine, we can also supply Construction Equipment, Hay Making Equipment, Farm Machinery, Lawn Care, as well as Used Tractors and other Machinery.
We are seeking multiple full-time trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Tractor Mechanics for an immediate start on servicing and maintenance of New Holland tractors and our expanded machinery range in Mackay and up to Proserpine and surrounds.
Your strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and positive attitude will contribute to our continued success. The position will include (but not limited to) the following: Undertake appropriate measures to ensure all service and maintenance records are maintainedUndertake scheduled maintenance and repairs of our Customers New Holland Tractors and all our other ancillary equipmentEnsure all work carried out is undertaken to the highest quality standard and carried out safelyServicing and maintenance as per applicable schedulesWork with departmental and interdepartmental staff in a pleasant and constructive mannerSource and order spare parts and maintain appropriate records as required to ensure smooth work flow of scheduled servicing and maintenanceThe candidate must possess the following: High level of communication skillsAbility to interpret parts catalogues and workshop manualsPrior experience in a similar role with field experience and customer interactionTractor experience highly regardedSafe work ethic and attitudeA common sense approach to problem solvingWillingness to improve, add and share knowledgeAbility to work unsupervised and show initiativeDrivers Licence and Forklift ticket essentialBenefits We Offer: You will receive expert ongoing trainingRelocation Bonuses on offerWork in our purpose built, well-equipped workshopGenerous hourly rates and guaranteed job securityGreat staff discounts across our entire range of products #J-18808-Ljbffr
