Chief Technologist

Seeking a Chief Technologist for a busy public hospital site in Mt Isa, Queensland, due to the retirement of the current Chief.
The position is a permanent or fixed term contract opportunity.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technologist to lead a team of 12 Medical Imaging Technologists in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take their leadership capabilities to the next level and implement their problem-solving skills in a unique and challenging setting.
The Mt Isa clinic is a 24/7 hospital operation that conducts approximately 150 procedures daily, offering a range of medical imaging services, including general X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, OPG, theatre, echocardiographs, and interventional procedures.
The region is intricate, offering essential services to rural and remote communities, including First Nations communities and a significant mining population.
The Chief Technologist will be responsible for maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, implementing a 360 Healthcare approach, and leading a team of experienced and supportive professionals.
