The key duties of the position include
The Role

If so, you may be the perfect fit for a role in the Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO).
As an Intelligence or Technical Intelligence Assessment Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of analysts to deliver impactful results.
You will collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders, fostering relationships across DIO, broader Government, and international partners.
You will also analyse information from diverse sources, providing intelligence assessments that directly inform decision makers.
You will have access to unique and highly desirable training and professional development opportunities, and possible travel.
A merit pool of highly suitable candidates will be established to fill EL 1 vacancies that occur in DIO within the next 18 months.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
