We are currently delivering a range significant transport infrastructure projects across Australia.This includes designs and services for Alliances and Panel works including the Melbourne Airport Rail Sunshine Systems Alliance, North Western Program Alliance, MTM Panel Works, More Trains More Service – Transport for Tomorrow Alliance (Long term Alliance), PTA panel work and Queensland Rail Panel work.You will work autonomously and provide direction to project staff, bidding teams and interface with multiple disciplines and project leaders. You will develop strong client relationships and work with the bidding team to secure new projects. In this role you will oversee the work of juniors providing guidance and development of graduate engineers.Who are you?As an experienced Senior Track Engineer you will have a proven background in major infrastructure projects within the transport infrastructure industry.As an individual you are excited by the prospects of delivering iconic projects with a key client. You are a strong communicator and respect the importance of working within a team environment to deliver a common outcome. You appreciate innovation and are empowered to think strategically.You will possess the following skills and experience;Relevant and accredited bachelor's degree in engineeringDemonstrated local experience on high value and complex rail infrastructure projectsRelevant software experience e.g., MicroStation, BRT/Open Rail proficientAbility to work well within multi-disciplinary teams and alliancesYou will be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards this accreditationObtained Designer and Checker Competencies with the various ARO's including MTM and VLineAt KBR, we value you – here's howWhile our people are busy delivering leading science, technology and engineering solutions, we're committed to providing them with a supportive, trusting environment and benefits that enable them to thrive and continue doing what they do best.We can offer you flexible and family friendly working arrangements including flexibility with hours as well as your work location.
