Obviously, the answer is their accountant – and we're inviting you to be part of this fast-paced, high-octane world.GMD Advisory is a boutique firm set amongst the glitter and glamour of the Gold Coast, where Prada gowns and stilettos exist beside high-vis vests and work boots, and we're currently on the look out for a Client Manager/Senior Accountant to join our team of rock stars.While at least five years of experience in the accounting industry and knowledge of Xero is highly desirable, more important to us is the right attitude, efficiency and a stylish pocket protector. Current membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (ICAANZ) will also be accepted in lieu of said pocket protector.At GMD Advisory, we firmly believe in the importance of work/life balance. This role is flexible around the right candidate, whether that's a typical 9 to 5 work week, an 8-day fortnight, dedicating your every living moment to us, or any number of combinations thereof.Professionalism, integrity and accountability come first, balanced with a friendly and supportive workplace culture. Just like on a Monopoly board, free parking is provided, as are snacks and one of those fancy coffee machines that do all the work for you.Duties:Lead a team of accountants to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.Support and mentor your team.Review compliance work prepared by your team.Liaise with clients and provide assistance with Xero software queries or tax matters as they arise.Build and maintain client relationships.Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies.Assist with cashflow, budgets, and management reporting for clients.As we are after genuine rock stars – or whatever the accounting equivalent is… this role comes with a competitive salary package, flexible working conditions and the support of our fantastic management team to propel you forward in your career.
