Primary Learning Leaders (Acting) St Joseph's School - CORINDAWhy BCE?Benefits & RewardsStronger connections today | Inspired people tomorrowAbout the roleWe are seeking a Primary Learning Leader (PLL) to support the engagement, learning progress, and achievement of students in our school. This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment with 3 days release and 2 days classroom, and an initial three-year appointment as PLL. A subsequent three-year appointment will be offered following a successful performance review.In this key position you will:Enhance teacher capacity and effectivenessModel high-quality teaching & learning and mentoring & coachingEnsure improved educational outcomes for students and continuous school improvementLead and coordinate curriculum implementationPromote effective teaching and improved achievement in all curriculum areasAbout youTo be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:Strong knowledge and experience in implementing the Australian CurriculumCapacity to develop interpersonal relationships, establish productive partnerships, and work as part of a team to lead changeCapacity to lead and manage activities which promote the engagement, learning progress, and achievement of studentsSuccess as a classroom teacher and commitment to professional developmentAt BCE our teachers are required to:Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registrationBe eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointmentHave a commitment to SafeguardingThe Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
