What you will do
In the Manager role, you will: Advise and support the Director, ICT Branch on major information technologies and information management policies and issues.Contribute to develop a strategic vision and direction for information management through program management of business systems, application development and maintenance.Lead end to end Project Management of significant, complex and varied ICT projects aligning to business requirements and enabling the business to achieve benefit realisations.Develop and implement strong program governance and risk controls to ensure project and operational outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and to quality standards.Initiate and oversee the assessment of and formulation of recommendations to support evidence-based planning and decision-making in relation to relevant information technology systems.Provide strategic advice to senior management and business teams on specific issues related to business needs, priorities, ICT governance and ICT project requirements.Liaise with project stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of application requirements.Manage resource assignments across a number of projects, in conjunction with other governance and technology areas.Provide mentoring and coaching of project management techniques, methods and systems to identified business staff.Lead and model a change management and performance development culture by participating in regular two-way feedback discussions with your supervisor, your colleagues, your direct reports and other staff members of the Branch.What we are looking for
