Charge Radiation Therapist - Icon Cancer Centre GreenslopesCharge RT working across both planning, simulation and treatment units at our high performing Greenslopes centre.Provide leadership and mentoring of the radiation team at our high performing and patient-centric centre.15-Month Full Time Contract Role, 9-day Fortnight – Greenslopes, Qld.About the Role:We are looking for a Charge Radiation Therapist for our cancer treatment centre in Greenslopes.
You will be responsible for the unit's clinical operation and will require an ongoing commitment to the provision of technical supervision and support for all on-site Radiation Therapists.
This role is a 15-month contract and will report to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and operate in a full-time capacity, working 76 hours per fortnight over a 9-day fortnight.Things you'll be doing:Provide effective leadership and support to the Radiation Therapist team.Deliver high quality radiation therapy treatment and planning services for patients.Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimise quality, efficiency and productivity through a patient-centric and collaborative approach.Active involvement and leadership in developing the local radiation therapy service.Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.Exhibit strong decision-making abilities.Be involved in initiatives and implementation of new technology to deliver training.About You:We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to adapt in a supportive environment.Skills & Experience:Demonstrates a commitment to the provision of exceptional patient care.Demonstrable leadership capacity to work effectively and positively as a senior member of the Multidisciplinary team.Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.Apply effective communication and interpersonal skills to represent Icon in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders.Demonstrated capacity to identify new quality improvement opportunities, implement and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.Valid General Registration with AHPRA as a radiation therapist.Current Queensland Radiation Use License.Adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.Experience with planning treatment systems.Icon GroupIcon Group is Australia's largest integrated provider of cancer care with a growing reach in New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom.
