Alpha Client Implementation Executive, Managing Director

The Client Implementation Executive is expected to operate as a leader to plan, prioritize and execute on the implementation of new Alpha client business.
Qualified applicants should have prior experience managing large complex programs, be at ease leading others with no hierarchical connection, and should be comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced environment.
Applicants must demonstrate experience managing organizations through significant transformation and change, and developing relationships at executive levels.

What You Will Be Responsible For
Act as the business owner responsible for the successful delivery of the program, operating as the senior conduit between the client and State Street.
Consult with Clients to understand their strategy, business objectives, operating model needs and challenges.
Provide subject matter expertise and industry experience to lead Alpha solution discussions.
Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
Oversee and approve program plans inclusive of State Street, client and critical 3rd party tasks.
Ensure program milestones and dependencies support agreed upon scope and timeline.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting and resource allocations for the program.
Establish Project Governance both internally and with the client ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with frequently and appropriately.
Drive the client, internal stakeholders and critical 3rd parties to execute against their tasks and milestones; drive proper governance and program reporting.
Drive a high performing culture across the program teams in which people operate to deliver client outcomes with a One State Street mindset.
Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
Implement standard change control process, deploy and maintain risk, issue and decision logs.
Ensure program activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
Build and manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce implementation time, improve quality and improve client experience, and enable faster revenue recognition.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs.
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back office functions.
Experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations functions is preferred.
Knowledge of front and middle office technology is an advantage.
Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, Thinkfolio, Sim Corp Dimension, Markit EDM, Eagle Pace, etc.
Experience with Agile software development, highly configurable systems and leading testing techniques.
Ability to travel across the region as required.
