YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Fixed Term Part Time Role. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior psychologist to join a dynamic and world-renowned team of experts in cancer prehabilitation.
This newly created role is supported by a research grant to provide a virtual prehabilitation hub at Peter Mac.
The second hub will be at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
The role will involve leading the provision of tele prehabilitation psychology to referred patients from several Victorian hospitals within a research framework.
The position reports directly to the Head of Clinical Psychology and indirectly to the Research Manager (Division of Surgery).
The position will work under the guidance of the psychosocial oncology team and the Principal Investigator for the PC-2 trial.
Training will be provided as part of this joint research/clinical position, Additionally, the position will involve baseline participant assessments as required, assisting with entering consult data into a trial data base and regular liaison and reporting to the management and trial investigator team.
An opportunity exists to be involved in smaller sub studies.
This role is a fixed term contract until 11th August 2029.This role is 2 days a week located at Peter Mac's East Melbourne site.
Remuneration as per MEDICAL SCIENTISTS, PHARMACISTS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE
AGREEMENT 2021 – 2025 Clinical PSYCHOLOGIST GR3 (PL1) $106,158 per annum (full-time equivalent rate - $42,463.2 per annum for part-time hours).
