About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Payroll Supervisor to join our team for a 6-month contract.
As we continue to grow, this hands-on role is essential to ensure smooth payroll processing while our Payroll Manager embarks on new system projects.
You'll be at the forefront of managing end-to-end payroll for a workforce of over 600 employees, working with our trusted payroll system, FastTrack360.

Key Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of the payroll process, ensuring seamless data entry, calculations, and disbursements for a growing team.
Partner closely with finance and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication on payroll matters.
Stay ahead of ever-evolving payroll tax regulations to ensure accurate deductions and reporting.
Handle employee deductions, child support payments, superannuation, and more, with precision.
Review and reconcile payroll data to resolve discrepancies, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Lead a dedicated team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, support, and expertise.
Address and resolve payroll queries from both internal and external stakeholders with excellent customer service.
Contribute to monthly reconciliations, data imports, and payroll system maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
A proven payroll expert with at least 3 years of experience in a Senior Payroll Officer or Supervisor role.
In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation.
Familiarity with FastTrack360 is highly preferred but not mandatory.
An exceptional attention to detail , with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
A customer-centric approach and the ability to handle sensitive payroll data with discretion.
