Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.Acciona is seeking a Control System and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer for the Water Business division based in Perth. This role will report to the Control Systems & Instrumentation Lead and will provide support for the design and specification of general instrumentation, analysers, pneumatics and DCS based control systems. The role will provide C&I engineering and design support to seawater desalination projects seamlessly and with high quality.The ProjectThe Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1, the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of scope of services and technical documentation for DCS, pneumatics, analysers (pH, conductivity, ORP, etc.) and instrumentation (flow, pressure, etc.).Proposal preparation and cost estimates for instrumentation, pneumatics, analysers and control system (DCS).Location/arrangement of DCS and other control cabinets and instrumentation within the plant.Review supplier documentation to ensure project specifications are satisfied.Required SkillsBachelor's in engineering (Industrial or Civil preferred)Experience in design, development and implementation of plant control systems and instrumentation design solutions for medium/large size projectsExperience in cable termination drawings and cable routing design.Demonstrated experience and understanding of Australian and International standards (AS, IEC, ISO, ASME, etc.)A very proactive profile that can adapt to the different needs during the project design phase.What we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
