Home Job Info Other Position Role Description/Criteria POSITION DESCRIPTION /REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will: work as a member of the school's wellbeing team in the delivery of student wellbeing services contribute to improving student engagement, connectedness and wellbeing contribute to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment operate within the school community and with external providers support students and staff to create an environment which promotes the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development and wellbeing of all students support students and staff to create an environment of cooperation and mutual respect, and promote an understanding of diversity within the range of cultures and relevant tradition support the Catholic ethos of the school Please also refer to the attached role description for all school staff below.
Minimum qualification requirements are either: Certificate IV in Youth Work Certificate IV in Pastoral Care Certificate IV in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Salary is in line with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 for an Education Support Worker, category ESB2, in the range of levels 1 - 6, aligned with the successful candidates qualifications and experience.
Selection Criteria: Ability/Experience in providing support to children and young people and their families to address social and emotional needs Ability to provide pastoral care, advocacy and critical incident response to support children and young people, school staff and families Ability/Experience in delivering wellbeing services within a multidisciplinary team Ability to support schools and teachers to identify, develop and deliver educational, social and emotional programs to support children and young people who are vulnerable or at risk Ability to liaise with community service organisations, government agencies, hospitals, specialist programs and other allied health professionals Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school Willingness to comply with state legislation and policies in relation to child protection matters, Child Safety Information St Kevin's Primary School is committed to child safety and is legally required to obtain the following information about a person whom it proposes to engage to perform child-connected work.
