Senior Team Member, Band 6 - AFP College Registered Training Organisation TeamThe mission of the Australian Federal Police is to provide dynamic and effective law enforcement to the people of Australia.

Learning and Development Command drives the AFP to acquire knowledge, develop skills and create a learning culture that helps the AFP thrive and outsmart serious crime.
The AFP is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) certified by the Australian Skills Quality Authority to provide a range of Vocational Education and Training services and nationally recognised qualifications.
As a Senior Team Member in the AFP, you will be required to contribute to the strategic direction and achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.
It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
What will you do? Under the direction of the Team Leader, this role will be responsible for delivering outcomes related to the AFP's learning culture, including managing the AFP's requirements as an RTO.
This includes, but is not limited to tasks related to:
Managing RTO assurance activities including gap analysis, validation, moderation, evaluation and continuous improvement;Developing and implementing instructional material such as policies, procedures and processes;Project management and associated financial activities;Providing high level advice and assistance to inform the development of training, assessment and associated resources such as: learning package analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement;Facilitating training sessions/workshops to proactively drive the ongoing development of AFP trainers, assessors and appointees;Support the Team Leader by providing leadership, supervising staff and performing general tasks to progress the achievement of team outcomes;Liaising with clients and building collaborative relationships;Maintaining contemporary skills and knowledge;Other tasks as required.Minimum Requirements: You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role.Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
