About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. About the Role In this role, you'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre, focusing on addressing the diverse mental health needs of active ADF members. Your support begins with initial intake and assessment, allowing flexibility to address individual needs effectively. You'll have the opportunity to utilize psychometrics and tailor treatments to align with your skills, interests, and scope of practice.
Autonomy is granted in managing your caseload, including overseeing, and managing externally referred cases and providing treatment to Defence members. Furthermore, you'll be supported in managing crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, and developing risk management plans as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary approach.
About the Location Larrakeyah Health Centre is located at the Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin City. The facility supports Army personnel and HMAS Coonawarra, and has a routine dependency of 1,100 personnel, surging every 3 months to conduct pre and post deployment medicals. The centre provides primary medical, dental, and physiotherapy services. Standard operating hours are 0730-1600, Monday-Friday.
About You As the ideal applicant, you will have:
