Risk Consulting (Insurance & Superannuation)Full timeThis is an exciting role to perform client servicing and supporting Apex Group in technical needs for client audits and advice.Job specificationDevelop annual internal audit plan for Apex Brisbane OfficeWork with business to document and update internal controlsDevelop audit reports and present to management and appropriate committeesAct as liaison between external SOC auditor, Client Auditors and Apex Internal Auditor and the relevant Apex Superannuation staffOngoing monitoring of topical / high risk areas for inclusion in the internal audit programProvide detailed briefing to clients on the impact of change to legislation & relevant products.Investigate and report on breach/errors on behalf of clients.Conduct reviews to assess clients' adherence to legislative, regulatory, procedural and compliance plan requirements, including general advice provision via phone callsCompliance review training articles and other training materialsUndertake additional assignments upon direction of Head of Compliance Solutions including business development activitiesUser testing for compliance and training systemsAssist with the maintenance of internal proceduresSkills Required:Formal qualifications in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Education or other)/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Superannuation or Financial Planning)RG146 QualifiedPrevious experience working in the Superannuation IndustryStrong understanding of Financial Services Industry, with knowledge of key legislation and regulatory environmentAnalytical thinker with ability to comprehend legislative and regulatory requirements and assess practical implicationsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all organisational levels, including executive management and board levelsWhat you will get in return:A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business;Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience;Training and development opportunitiesAdditional information:We are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
