Commercially driven with a value-add mindset, the purpose of this role is to maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements for end-of-month and end-of-year accounts, providing insights for continuous improvements.This role will also manage, mentor, and support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Functions.Key responsibilities include:Ensure month-end tasks including all GL reconciliations are completed accurately and on time;Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure that invoice processing, payments, and collections are made on time.
Provide mentoring and support when issues are escalated;Forecasting of monthly foreign exchange files and ensure foreign currency hedging files are maintained;Assist in the preparation of budget/forecasts;Working with a cross-functional team to ensure Fixed Asset reporting and capital spend is accurate;Participate in both internal and external audits.The key measures for this role include but are not limited to:Results delivered on time in an accurate and complete manner;Find and implement solutions with Right First Time thinking;Support direct reports with a view to increase knowledge and performance.To be successful in the role, the candidate must:Possess a degree qualification in either Commerce, Accounting, or Finance;Have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an Accountant role;Have experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Navision is an advantage;Proficiency in Excel;Be able to develop effective working relationships within Finance and with other departments;Approach tasks with both a high level of attention to detail and good time management;Show a willingness to learn and develop own skill set.If you feel your experience meets our requirements - APPLY NOW#J-18808-Ljbffr
