The Opportunity
The General Manager Residential Care is a critical leadership role with a transformative agenda to deliver growth to market leadership positioning.
An integral member of the RSLLC Senior Leadership Team, this position will lead the development and delivery of a strategic plan that delivers uplift across all aspects of its operations.
The GM will lead a large team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and governance that exceeds industry compliance and statutory requirements.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and leading a team managing 29 facilities, the General Manager Residential Care will:
Lead the strategic direction and supervision of the residential care portfolio with a genuine focus on customer-focused care.
Apply a growth mindset to the portfolio with a vision to support more veterans and older Australians.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, customer service, and contribute to effective management decision making based on understanding of risk in the delivery of care services to residents and their families.
Drive innovative models and approaches to resident care across all relevant provision areas.
An individual appointed to this position will be considered Key Personnel within RSL LifeCare for the purposes of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018 (ACQSC) and the National Disability and Insurance Scheme Act 2013.

Post-graduate qualifications and experience leading in the provision of Nursing, Resident and Community Care Services within a Healthcare, Aged Care or related organisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team within a multi-site organisation.
Strong financial acumen with experience performing effectively against operational budgets across multiple locations.
Experience effectively managing compliance within a complex regulatory environment and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the Aged Care sector.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions which balance customer experience, commercial outcomes and risk mitigation.
