As one of Australia's largest privately-owned civil engineering, construction and land development companies, we offer career opportunities across diverse sectors in both metropolitan and regional locations.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team on an exciting water projectThe successful candidate will be a self-starter with:Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.At least 10 years' experience in project engineering, construction and commissioning.Experience in Water and Wastewater projects, both treatment and transfer infrastructure.Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and influence.Attention to detail, and a strong client focus.Knowledge of HSE and statutory requirements, including safety case, risk assessment and mitigation processes such as CHAZOP, CHAIR.Key ResponsibilitiesResourcing, management and supervision of the Commissioning Team.Developing commissioning philosophies and methods that minimise risk to safety, the environment, assets and production.Ensuring all commissioning documentation and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.Ensuring all Company statutory permits and approvals are identified and implemented prior to commencement of work.Providing strategic and proactive resolutions to issues identified relating to Commissioning requirements.Overseeing all required inspections / Audits and FAT's and ensure commissioning personnel attendance.BenefitsEssential service industry providing job security and a robust pipeline of projects ahead.Career development and growth opportunities.Family-owned business offering a unique culture and access to leaders that value your contribution, reward excellence and encourage long-term careers.Good health and wellbeing program.Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers and flexible work arrangements available.As you can tell, we provide you with the benefits you'd expect from a leading Australian contractor, but what makes us different is:Our culture – our vision to do things differently and unique family-orientated values and history allows for a unique team environment where our business really is about the people, allowing you to make life-long friends.Our work – the possibilities are as diverse as you are.
