In addition to extensive financial management experience, ideally within the aged care and/or not-for-profit sectors, you will have a proven track record of leadership at the executive level.
You are committed, reliable, respectful and ethical and an expert in collaboration.You also have:A strong, broad spectrum of financial modelling, budgeting, and strategic planning skillsProficiency with systemsStrategic thinking and planning skills.Tertiary qualifications in Business or AccountingMembership of an Australian professional accounting body (CPA, CA)Reporting to the CEO , the role involves:Ensuring compliance with AN-ACC, and regulatory and reporting standards and requirements.Providing strategic direction for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.Managing and mentoring a finance team, providing support to the key operational team members, building a positive and collaborative culture.Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Board and executive leadership team.Overseeing the financial aspects of capital development projects and strategic plans.WHAT MAKES THIS ORGANISATION ONE YOU'D WANT TO WORK FOR?The unique and fantastic history of this organisation is embedded within the bigger histories of North Sydney and the early Australian feminist movements.
