About the role We're seeking a Contracts Manager for Transurban's WestConnex (WCX) assets.
You'll play a pivotal role in managing some of Australia's most complex and critical motorway assets.
You'll be the bridge between Transurban's WCX assets and key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the seamless delivery of contractual obligations and driving innovative solutions.
You'll join an innovative, well-established team who work closely and supportively to achieve strong commercial results and positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
This role offers a dynamic blend of strategic oversight, relationship management, and operational excellence, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of road operations and maintenance.

Day-to-day, you will: Manage day-to-day commercial correspondence and interactions with Transport for NSW for WCX assets.
Support operations and maintenance teams in delivering key initiatives and projects with commercial and project management expertise.
Oversee contract compliance, ensuring obligations are met under the terms and conditions of agreements.
Document, track, and maintain contract obligations while streamlining processes and ways of working.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Provide input into governance and regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks.
Identify risks, manage them effectively, and contribute to risk management processes and certifications.
Represent Transurban at internal and external meetings, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Management, Legal, or a related discipline.
Great communication and interpersonal skills – ability to interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels?and in all formats.
Proven experience in managing and administering multi-million-dollar contracts, ideally within infrastructure or heavy industries.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex business issues and propose value-adding solutions.
Deep understanding of contracts and the ability to seek and apply advice for favorable outcomes.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to solve complex problems while balancing multiple priorities.
Experience of having worked with a government stakeholder will be beneficial.
