An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Digital Technology (DigiSTEM) Teacher to join our School community on a full-time, ongoing basis.
Working in world-class facilities, this role will be responsible for teaching Digital Technologies subjects across Years 7 to 12, in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Tertiary qualifications in Education.Current VIT Registration.A current knowledge of Australian Curriculum (Digital Technologies).Previous experience teaching Digital Technologies subjects. (Experience teaching Applied Computing is preferred but not essential).Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.An active contributor to a collegial work environment.Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.Position Status This is a full-time, ongoing position, commencing Term 1, 2025.
Full-time teaching staff are expected to undertake a mentor role which, depending on the year level, attracts an allowance.
