About the Role We are seeking a HR Delivery Driver and a HC Delivery Driver responsible for ensuring Aline products and equipment are transported safely and efficiently from one location to another.
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
Safe Driving: Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle by following all traffic laws and regulations, using defensive driving techniques, and practicing good vehicle maintenance.Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, checking for any mechanical issues, and ensuring that it is in good working condition.
Report all issues immediately.Transportation of Goods: Ensure the secure and timely transportation of cargo.Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes to reach the destination, considering traffic, weather conditions, and road closures.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and represent Aline positively during deliveries, including distributing promotional and marketing material when required.Documentation: Keep accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly.Adherence to Schedule: Maintain a strict schedule, ensuring timely deliveries or pick-ups.Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure and undamaged.Safety Precautions: Follow safety protocols, such as wearing seatbelts and using appropriate safety measures for handling and securing the load.Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatchers and customers, providing updates on progress or any issues during the journey.Compliance: Comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to hours of service and weight restrictions.Environmental Responsibility: Minimise the environmental impact of driving by practicing fuel-efficient driving and reducing idling time.Professionalism: Present a professional image while on the job, including maintaining personal hygiene and adhering to dress code requirements.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with changes in traffic laws, vehicle technology, and industry regulations.About You HR and HC licences required, in alignment with position requirementsWhite CardEmbody our core values: Go the Extra Mile, Every Little Detail Counts, Passionate Focus on the End User, and Deliver on our Promises.Why work for us?
