With a strong presence in Newcastle, they are seeking to add a Category Specialist to their Procurement team.
Job Description Developing and implementing strategic sourcing and category management plansIdentifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvementsNegotiating contracts and managing supplier relationshipsEnsuring compliance with industry and company standardsConducting market research to stay abreast of industry trendsCollaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectivesManaging risks associated with supply chain processesProviding regular reports on category performance The Successful Applicant A successful Category Specialist should have:
