Canteen Supervisor

2 days ago, from Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga St Joseph's Wagga Wagga is currently seeking a Permanent Part-time Canteen Supervisor to commence in January 2025.
St Joseph's School is centrally located in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
As a single stream school, we provide a safe, supportive, and happy environment for all children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Your new role: The Canteen Supervisor, under the supervision of the Principal, is responsible, with the assistance of volunteer helpers, for the operation of the School Canteen.
The main aim of the canteen is to provide and promote a variety of nutritious and healthy foods to students and staff in accordance with Healthy Schools Canteen guidelines.
What we can offer: Permanent Part-time position to commence 31 January 2025 Work Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4.5 hours per day.

Discounted Bupa Health insurance Salary: Level 3: $31.52 per hour - Averaged (term-time only) What you will need to succeed (Selection Criteria): Ability to plan, organize, and monitor the daily operations of the canteen in accordance with established procedures.
Knowledge of correct food handling and hygiene procedures.
Aptitude for working with students.
Capacity to work with and manage canteen volunteers.
Willingness to work with School Leadership and staff.
Abide by the policies and procedures of St Joseph's Primary School.
Current Working with Children Check.
Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check and a Functional Assessment.
Experience in Hospitality and Food Service.
A Food Handling or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to undertake such training.
Knowledge of the NSW Schools Canteen Guidelines.
Experience with School24 online ordering software.
