Due to internal movement, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician on Night Shift.
The successful candidate will support the Quality agenda by ensuring all analytical and testing equipment is maintained, calibrated and available for each production shift in a timely manner.
Details:Tingalpa locationSunday to Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am.Selection Process: Formal Interview – Online Assessment – Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks – DecisionResponsibilitiesMaintaining and improving quality and food safety systemsPerforming analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenanceTraining and coaching the site team in QA processes and testingGenerating and analyzing reportsConducting internal auditsChemical preparation and chemical handlingSupport with assistance of customer complaints and investigationEnsure compliance with Hold and Abort systemsDriving site-wide quality projectsTrouble-shooting quality issuesComply with site GMP Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specificationDemonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our peopleUndertake all duties in accordance with Company environmental policies and procedures, and support continual improvement in environmental systems and performance as outlined in annual plansQualificationsQualifications in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science or related discipline (Preferable)Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment (Essential)High level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistryHigh level of mechanical reasoningAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environmentHigh levels of self-management and initiativeAbility to plan and prioritiseAbility to set and achieve targetsPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
