Our Benefits: Competitive salaries and employee discountsFlexible work options availableExtended leave options including purchased leave, leave at half pay and access to pro-rata long service leaveOpportunity to work for an endorsed WORK180 employerPaid parental leave and secondary carer's leave available after 6 months service. 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 6 weeks paid secondary caregiver's leaveTraining and development opportunitiesOpportunities to be part of our wide and active range of Employee Resourcing Groups: Reconciliation, Gender, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Disability, Mental Health and Neurodiversity, and Perth Mint with PrideCharity and volunteer initiativesIncome protection after an accident or illnessHealth and wellness programs, including an Employee Assistance Program, ongoing wellbeing initiatives, and workplace community building spacesYour role as an Officer Security will involve: Control room monitoring of security management systems including but not limited to, Access control, CCTV Surveillance, and intruder detectionControl and manage ingress & egress of all stakeholders across the businessMaintain asset security, perimeter security and infrastructureInteract and liaise with members of management on security mattersProvide communications across all operational security activitiesPerform general administrative duties and concierge dutiesScreening of persons and baggage across all Perth Mint sitesReport any faults and notify seniors of incidents during and after hoursBe an emergency contact point for all departmentsAssist with development and learning of wider security team, including new and existing staff (once competent)Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at workExperience: Level 2 Security ExperienceCertificate II in Security OperationsSenior First Aid CertificateHigh level of confidentiality and discretion, with the ability to always act in a trustworthy and ethical mannerStrong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-taskAbility to work under minimum supervision and as an effective team memberSound computer literacy skillsExcellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)Strong customer service skillsAbility to use initiative and good judgementIt's easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don't see yourself as the perfect fit.
