DescriptionOverview As our Lead Marketing Artist, you will guide the marketing art team, ensuring top-notch visual communication and design quality.
You should have a keen eye for clean and playful design, possess superior visual communication skills, be highly adaptable, and have the ability to translate high-level requirements into refined final assets across various formats.
Key Responsibilities Lead a dynamic marketing art team to create diverse and high-quality marketing assets.Collaborate closely with user acquisition, publishing, and project teams to deliver impactful marketing materials.Drive the creation and iteration of game logos, app icons, and other key marketing assets, ensuring top-tier quality.Source and adapt game content, maintaining brand consistency across multiple projects while working with external partners and contractors.Oversee outsourced artwork, build a network of specialist contractors, and manage asset versioning and localization to meet global standards.What You Bring To The Role Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, with strong digital illustration skills.Deep understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including layout, spacing, typography, and color theory.Proven leadership in planning, prioritization, and time management, with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.Demonstrated ability to create engaging digital marketing assets across diverse art styles, with high attention to detail and visual communication.Bonus Points Storyboarding and examples of visual storytelling.Games industry experience.What we offer here at PlaySide Playdays - an additional 5 paid days off per year to do something you love.Incredible studios based in gorgeous Port Melbourne, right next to the city and many public transport options.Industry leading Parental Leave benefits.Employee Assistance Program to support mental wellbeing.Mentoring opportunities in our agile and fast-growing environment.Half price state of the art Gym access right next door - you can wear your free PlaySide swagSocial events including games night, karaoke nights, movie nights, group activities, and food trucks.Relocation allowance if you move to one of our head offices.The chance to work on exciting projects with incredible companies around the world.Role TypeCompany OverviewPlaySide is the largest independent games studio in Australia.
