About the role & CMV This role will provide professional WHS advice, support, coaching and guidance to our Victorian businesses.

Regular travel is required to metropolitan and regional dealerships across Victoria.
Dependent on residential location, this role offers the flexibility to be based in either the eastern or western suburbs.
Aligning with CMV's number #1 core value Safety First, this diverse role will support improved safety outcomes for this growing business.
In conjunction with the WHS Manager, you and the WHS Advisor located in SA will assist the development and execution of the Group's Health and Safety strategy.
This role will be predominantly supporting truck workshop environments.
Key requirements of the role: Provide professional and timely health, safety and wellbeing advice as requiredAct as a committee member and technical advisor on the Board WHS CommitteeEngage and consult with leaders and managers to drive improvements in health and safety and ensuring all legislative requirements are met.Keep the group abreast of the relevant WHS legislative changesIdentify and ensure adequate training in WHS related mattersProvide WHS training as requiredAssist with preparation of monthly health and safety reportsAssist with accident/incident investigations as required, ensuring all outcomes are followed throughAddress all aspects of risk management including risk and hazard identification; analysis; evaluation and treatment to ensure management and staff are provided with the knowledge to address and mitigate external and internal risk exposure.Undertake health and safety research projects, reports, presentations and serious incident investigations as requiredConduct internal health and safety audits and participate in external audits as requiredWhat we are looking for: Minimum of Cert IV in WHS/OHS2 – 3 + years' work experience in a similar health and safety roleTechnical or previous exposure to workshop environments would be advantageousDemonstrated ability to influence key stakeholdersOutstanding interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsSound computer knowledgeCurrent driver's licenseIf you have the skills and experience necessary and want to become an important part of our successful team, then please apply and submit your cover letter and resume.
