The Pines Post Office is looking for a friendly and dedicated Postal Services Officer to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior Australia Post experience or a strong background in sales, banking, or retail.

Position Details
Casual role: 5 days per week, including some Saturdays.
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Hourly rate: $33.31
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 16 kg of mail regularly and stand throughout your shift.
Experienced in cash handling or customer service.
Your Responsibilities
As a Postal Services Officer, you'll:
Conduct and process a range of identity service transactions, including Australian Passport interviews.
Handle high-value transactions accurately, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
Build strong relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
Promote Australia Post products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
Assist customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.
Support the team with administrative and general store duties.
