The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Distribution Design Engineer (ASP3) to join our dynamic team in Parramatta, NSW.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in power engineering and will be responsible for managing the production of project deliverables for distribution projects ranging from 240V to 33kV, both overhead and underground.

About the role:
Develop designs, deliverables, and resource schedules for overhead and underground projects.
Prepare and check feasibility studies, outline and detailed design technical reports, and other documentation.
Design and review detailed construction design drawings.
Produce design concepts, specifications, and other technical documents.
Lead and mentor graduate and junior engineers.
Assist the Manager in managing resources effectively.
Deliver comprehensive overhead lines engineering, including PnW modeling, conductor selection, construction drawings, and supporting documentation.
About you:
NSW ASP Level 3 Design experience (Ausgrid, Endeavour and Essential Energy) BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering with Power / utility background with CPENG or on the pathway of obtaining CPENG.
Minimum 3-4 years experience in industry Proficiency in GIS, design, and drafting software.
Experience in preparing designs, material lists, estimating connection costs, and securing customer approvals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
A project management and service delivery mindset.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
