Responsibilities of Domestic Assistant: General cleaning – vacuuming, mopping, dusting and bathrooms Laundry – washing, folding and ironing Meal preparation. Eligibility Criteria for Domestic Assistant: Legal Eligibility: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia, whether through citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa. Experience: Previous experience in domestic assistance or a similar role is preferred.
Candidates with a background in housekeeping, cleaning, or related fields will be given preference. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are essential, as the role involves managing various household tasks efficiently and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Proactive Attitude: The ideal candidate should be proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the household. Communication Skills: Good communication skills are necessary for interacting with household members, understanding their preferences, and ensuring effective collaboration with other staff members. Reliability and Punctuality: Dependability and punctuality are important traits, as the Domestic Assistant plays a key role in maintaining the daily functioning of the household. Physical Fitness: The job may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing.
