Our 35,000 customers are serviced from distribution centres located in Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.Key focus areas:Providing cross-functional leadership across manufacturing and maintenance/engineering departments, as well as to manufacturing business partners including HSEQ, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams.Developing, implementing, and reviewing monthly an annual manufacturing plan aligned with our 3-year strategy and annual manufacturing requirements.We welcome applicants with keen commercial acumen and demonstrated capability for production, quality, cost, and safety management within a medium to large business environment.The successful applicant will ideally possess:Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a manufacturing-related qualification highly regarded.10+ years' experience in operational management with a significant background in high-volume manufacturing and/or engineering environments.An ability to analyse and interpret financial & production data, supported by an understanding of the relationship between key financial indicators and root causes of problems.An understanding of Quality, Safety, and Sustainability accreditations within a production environment is highly desirable.Experience using ERP systems.Sound working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.As a member of the Signet team, you will be offered a range of benefits including:Training and development opportunities enabling career progression - we are a company that values its employees and promotes from within.Recognition program celebrating key service milestones.Employee of the Month Awards recognising employees who go above and beyond.24/7/365 access to Employee Assistance Program specialists.Signet offers an extension of the government-paid parental leave by 10 weeks for primary carers and 2 weeks for secondary carers.If you're looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact and feel appreciated, we'd love to hear from you
