Primary Objective: The Deputy Clerk is the second most senior officer in the Department of the Legislative Assembly (the DLA). The role is accountable for the overall delivery of a number of key corporate and building management services for Members, Electorate Officers and the DLA itself. The Deputy Clerk is also required to deputise for the Clerk and assist in providing high-level advice on parliamentary law, practice and procedure. An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered.
