Salesforce Release Manager

Technical Release Manager6-month contractLocation: Anywhere on the East Coast of AustraliaWe are partnering with a Global Salesforce partner who is working on a groundbreaking project within the federal government. We are looking for multiple people to join this project, and one of these is for a Technical Release Manager.In this role you will oversee the technical management and delivery of releases. Working closely with the delivery community and client stakeholders, you will ensure the seamless release and delivery of projects. Your responsibilities include:Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical management and delivery of releases, supporting release squads in managing all technical aspects.Oversee environment provisioning and management for customer projects.Drive DevOps automation initiatives, including test and deployment automation.Collaborate with customer security teams to review releases and hotfixes.Provide technical advice and guidance to release squads.Develop and manage release plans, including determining release dates and tracking deliverables.Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and agreed standards.Identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, or issues impacting release schedules.Facilitate and guide discussions in release forums and meetings across programs of work.Act as a collaborative leader to share knowledge, assist team development, and support high-quality delivery.Participate in planning, service improvement, and other program-relatedRequired Skills and ExperienceIdeally you will come from a Salesforce Technical Lead role with the following qualifications:Salesforce Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge in at least two Salesforce clouds (e.g., Public Sector Solutions, MuleSoft, Experience Cloud).Team Leadership: Proven success in managing onshore and offshore development teams.Solution Design: Experience designing Salesforce solutions and understanding how Salesforce integrates into broader architectural landscapes.Business Insight: Ability to analyze client business problems and deliver tailored Salesforce-enabled solutions.Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Apex, Triggers, Classes, Lightning Web Components, API Web Services, and Salesforce declarative programming techniques.Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.DevOps Experience: Preferred experience with Salesforce DX and tools such as Git, BitBucket, and CI/CD pipelines.Problem Solving: A proactive, persistent approach to solving technical issues.Automation Mindset: Belief in automating repetitive tasks using code.This role requires a combination of technical skill, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both teams and stakeholders.*To be considered for this role you need to be an Australian Citizen AND have NV1 or baseline Clearance*If you match this criteria and would like to know more, please apply with an updated CV and we will be in contact.
