We are assisting our client's highly regarded tax function across Manager, Assistant Manager and Senior Consulting opportunities.
Our global client is looking to add to their teams in Sydney CBD or Parramatta due to recent client wins and organic growth of their existing client base.Being led by ex big four partners who were keen to offer a more empathetic approach to both clients and employees, this opportunity allows you to be a trusted advisory to brand name clients and work hand in hand with their tax functions to a mutually positive outcome.The organisation has an enviable track record of internal promotion on merit and ability.
They have award-winning internal training that allows you to be the best you can be.About the roleWorking alongside tax partners, you will have responsibility for managing client briefs, assisting in the development of more junior members of the team, and building relationships directly with your client's stakeholders.
Other duties may include based on your experience:Delivering and implementing tax advice (e.g., tax structuring strategies)Preparation and review of technical tax advice and reportsProblem-solving including identifying and implementing tax-effective capital management strategiesPreparation of M&A tax advice, due diligence reports, and review of sale & purchase agreementsPrepare tax thought leadership presentations and media articles including delivery of internal and external tax presentationsTax compliance including the review of income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculationsIdentify client tax risks and apply global & local quality control processes and risk proceduresSupervise and mentor your tax teamCGT & losses, Fringe benefits taxProvide commentary to Federal Treasury, Australian Taxation Office, and the media on recent developments in taxationPrepare and present tax technical papers to clients and other public practitionersUndertake business development activities with partners to promote the brand and servicesAbout youYou will be ready to take the next step in your career and move away from a compliance-focused roleHave 5 plus years of corporate tax experienceBe CA or CPA qualified or equivalent; alternatively, CTA in process or completedLegal background advantageousRole can be adapted should you be from an accounting or legal backgroundBe willing to learn from generous award-winning partners on their brand name clientsStrong written and verbal communication skills that can be utilized to enhance client relationshipsYou will be ambitious and ready to take on an above-market salary and work with a prestigious firm with a global reputation.Mane Consulting specializes in tax opportunities.
