If you are curious & creative, invested in not only your own success but also the growth of others, and believe in building the Great Australian Food Company, then you might be the one for us Join a large Australian owned iconic FMCG brand based in Docklands.New growth role - lots of career opportunitiesWorking with our major brandsAbout the RoleThe role will work across our Bega Group portfolio of brands including Farmers Union, Pura, Juice Brothers, Dare, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait just to name a few. Based in our Docklands office, the successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Customer Engagement, and Supply Chain Planning teams to apply data insights and improve forecasting accuracy.The Demand Planner will need to develop a 1-13 week consensus demand forecast. Look to creating and managing the true customer demand signals by which we align supply chain and company resources through the Sales and Operations Execution process (S&OE).Other responsibilities:Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tacticsMaintain demand planning systems to create accurate demand forecast that incorporates insights and trendsUse the Demand KPIs for root cause analysis and to drive improvements in accuracy and biasHave a continuous improvement mindset and be keen to develop better ways of working through teamworkAbout youPractical understanding of the Demand, Supply, and S&OE disciplines. Mathematical/statistical abilities. Proficiency using technology tools that enable demand planning and reporting. Degree qualified in appropriate discipline.
