As a Paediatric Psychologist at Better Health Network (BHN), you'll deliver high-quality psychological services that empower children and support holistic, family-centered care.
In this exciting role, you'll be an integral part of our Child Development Services team, where you'll provide assessments, treatment, group work, and health promotion activities tailored to pre-school and primary school-aged children.

You'll work across multiple BHN sites, bringing your expertise to ensure that our services are effective, efficient, and aligned with BHN, DHHS, and NDIS requirements.

Key Responsibilities Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and counselling for children under 13, addressing behavioral, emotional, and developmental issues.
Conduct psychometric testing to inform treatment plans and facilitate group programs tailored to children's needs.

Collaborate with the Paediatric team and external agencies to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes, participating in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.

Maintain accurate client records and contribute to service evaluations and quality improvement.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in Paediatric psychology.
Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to quality initiatives, and represent the Psychology Service within the organisation and the broader community.

About You You hold a postgraduate qualification in Psychology and are registered with AHPRA.
With 2-3 years of experience in Paediatric Psychology, you bring expertise in assessing, intervening, and supporting children with neurodevelopmental, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
You excel in cognitive and educational assessments and thrive in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to implement evidence-based programs.

Your strong decision-making, communication, and organisational skills enable you to manage your workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
You're committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and have a proven ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in Autism assessment, treatment planning, and group program delivery is highly regarded.
