Offering a range of logistics services from warehousing, contract logistics, linehaul, intermodal transport, global freight forwarding, and bulk logistics, we do logistics differently.
Reporting to the WA State Manager, Visy Logistics is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller based at our site in Canning Vale.
You will enjoy a hands-on environment working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Transport, and State Manager to ensure seamless inventory control.
As an experienced professional, you understand the importance of stock replenishment, adjustments, and distribution activities.
What You Will Do: Maintain records of work performed to facilitate accurate invoicing of clients and payment of employees.Streamline processes for receipting, stock replenishment, and outwards stock processing.Plan ahead to meet on-time deliveries and manage claims/stock adjustments.Conduct weekly cycle counts to meet customer KPIs and performance standards.Foster internal and external relationships to support operations and drive improvements.Assist with compliance and warehouse audit requirements.Adhere to all work health environment and safety standards, regulations, and practices.Actively participate in identifying ways to improve the site's environmental performance.What You Will Bring: Previous Transport and Logistics experience within a similar Inventory Management role.Previous experience working in a fast-paced Warehouse environment.Demonstrated experience managing Inventory – cycle counting/stocktakes/Goods Receipting.Prior Accounts Payable & Receivable experience (Desired).WMS experience essential, SAP highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement.What you'll love when you join us: Sustainability: Contribute to sustainability initiatives that make a difference.Supportive Environment: Be part of a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration.Career Growth: Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the company.Please note: Our offices will be closed from 20th December for the festive season.
