Retail Manager

As the Retail Manager at FoodWorks, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving the store's overall sales performance.
You will lead and inspire a dedicated team while ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to company policies, and alignment with the store's community-focused values.

Key Responsibilities:
Stock and Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, place orders, and ensure product availability while minimizing waste.
Customer Service Leadership: Set the standard for outstanding customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and manage complaints effectively.
Sales and Promotions: Optimize sales performance through effective merchandising, promotional execution, and upselling techniques.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and store performance metrics.
Budgeting and Profitability: Contribute to budget preparation and ensure financial targets are achieved.
Team Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor staff to uphold high service standards and meet performance expectations.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, food safety standards, and other legal requirements.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
A Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally in a grocery or supermarket environment.
Strong knowledge of stock control, sales strategies, and financial reporting.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Outstanding communication skills and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
