You'll help shape high-quality services that provide robust protection, high availability and seamless performance for games distributed globally, including services offered to partner studios.While not working directly on game engines, you'll contribute to the critical infrastructure that underpins the gaming ecosystem, ensuring the global network operates at its best. This is an opportunity to dive into the intersection of software and networking at the highest level, taking on complex challenges to enhance how games are delivered and played worldwide.RequirementsBS in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 10 years of relevant development experienceSkills & KnowledgeStrong understanding and prior work with Linux Kernel networkingStrong understanding of kubernetes network primitivesProven experience working with eBPF and related topicsExpert level understanding of TCP/IPExpert level understanding of network overlay and tunneling mechanismsExperience with Internet routing conceptsProven experience with C, Rust and GolangPrevious experience with CDN and content delivery advantageousExperience with identifying & troubleshooting network performance issues on both Linux and network devicesPrevious experience with game networking advantageousPrevious experience with handling large network scaling and DDoS mitigation advantageousPrevious experience with load balancing technologiesEqual Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
