ABOUT THE RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT
The Graduate Research School (GRS) is a pan-institutional School, home to our researcher training and our doctoral and masters community.
Grounded in the values of integrity, transparency and respect, the GRS mission is to lead and develop a world-class graduate research agenda that builds inter-generational knowledge capital essential for sustainable social, environmental and economic prosperity.
The GRS hosts an international research centre in knowledge resilience and innovation to solve complex global and local challenges through engagement with higher education, scientific institutions, innovative ecosystems and entrepreneurial mindsets.
Working across themes such as sustainability, regenerative economies and ecological transition, digitalisation and Industry 4.0, we research and consult through the lenses of future universities and future education, entrepreneurial and engaged universities, entrepreneurial ecosystems, university-business cooperation, open innovation, innovation management, corporate venturing, regional innovation systems, innovation districts and clusters.
OPPORTUNITY FOR GLOBAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS
The GRS can host Global Postdoctoral Fellows for a flexible duration in a range of disciplines and areas of research.
The GRS is open to postdoctoral fellows in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, responsible technology and ethics, technology and creativity, knowledge resilience and the entrepreneurial university, inter-generational knowledge transfer and economic sustainability, the future of higher education, higher education policy, higher education (particularly doctoral education), student experience and wellbeing, digital learning technologies and futures, data analytics and visualisation.
Transdisciplinary approaches are appreciated as is a creative mindset and an enjoyment of working with diverse teams.
We welcome fellows from all across Europe and hope they will contribute to UTS's vision to be a leading public university of technology with global impact, renowned nationally and internationally for its stewardship in the responsible use of technology and transformational research at the cutting edge of innovation, creativity and technology.
