Finished Artist/ Typesetter – Senior

Established for over 30 years and recognised by industry awards.
We are offering a part-time permanent position (3 days a week) for a Senior Finished Artist/ Typesetter with the flexibility to do more or less days.
Annual salary will be pro-rata.
You will work with a team of highly skilled professionals from our office in the Melbourne CBD, remotely or within a hybrid setting.
You will work on a variety of projects for blue chip companies and liaise with clients globally.
The Role As a Senior Finished Artist/ Typesetter you will:
Be a highly skilled and experienced professional.
Layout text and financials in long form documents.
Make changes to text and financials in layouts.
Produce annual reports and associated materials.
Produce finished artwork for printed and online collateral.
Thrive in our fast-paced environment, demonstrating effective and efficient problem-solving skills while working to tight deadlines.
Have an excellent eye for detail and a good sense of aesthetics.
Selection Criteria Minimum 7 years industry experience as a finished artist working across print and digital design.
Tertiary or equivalent qualifications with strong typographic, information architecture and layout skills.
Experience producing print and digital material.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac (including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Credible portfolio with clear explanations of your involvement in projects.
Experience with MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
