Australia's favourite outdoor cinema is searching for a Venue Manager to lead operations for Moonlight Cinema Perth located in Kings Park.
Moonlight Cinema is a summer tradition that combines the cinema experience with an outdoor festival atmosphere.
For guests, it's more than just movies, it's an opportunity to kick back and enjoy summer with friends and family.
Moonlight Cinema prides itself on respectfully activating green spaces and working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including internal suppliers, Sponsors and Gardens and Parklands partners.
This role is suited for an experienced team leader with a passion for events.
About the role: Management of daily operations, including set-up and pack-downOrganisation of season bump-in and bump-out including and management of the production scheduleLeadership of approximately 35 onsite crew, working closely with an Assistant Venue ManagerStaff recruitment, training and developmentManagement of F&B operations (including ordering, invoice entry and stock control)Oversight of sponsorship activations and deliverablesRostering and payroll managementAccountability of AV operation (including but not limited to screen set up and content management)Implementation of management plans and WHS complianceContact hours are primarily in the afternoon into the evening (with the exception of mid shifts or day shifts allocated for administration)Full Time Fixed Term commencing ASAP until early-April 2025The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management positionPrevious experience in Food and Beverage and customer servicePrevious cinema or event management experience is advantageousOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong sense of initiative and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to take ownership and problem solveDemonstrated experience leading a casual workforceStrong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards workProficient in Microsoft Office suiteMust have current RSA certificateMust have current driver's licenceIf this sounds like you, we want to hear from you Apply by submitting your application via Seek and include a cover letter that addresses the selection criteria and why you would be a great fit for this position.
