Forklift Operators

Brickworks are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Bristile Roofing yard in Wacol, QLD.Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include unloading and loading trucks, safely storing products, packing orders, and delivering outstanding customer service.Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (4 days per week) 4:00am to 2:30pm.Duties include but are not limited to: Pack orders with precision and care, ensuring customer satisfaction.Safely operate forklifts and other machinery to load and unload trucks.Maintain the yard's cleanliness and organisation.Ensure pallets are properly wrapped and labelled, maintaining product integrity.Ensure safety and promote safe practices, compliant with WHS policies and procedures.Maintain forklifts in accordance with the SOPs, ensuring daily checks are undertaken and the equipment is kept clean and tidy.Assist with monthly stocktakes and subsequent yard recounts for stock reconciliation.Complete additional tasks around the site as and when required.Success Requirements:Current Forklift License.Current Australian Drivers Licence.Strong skills in operating a forklift safely and efficiently and loading heavy vehicles.Excellent time management skills required to ensure the yard movements are timely and efficient.Proficient computer skills.A team player with a keen eye for detail.Strong problem solving and communication skills.Why join us?Charitable Partnership: Proudly support Children's Cancer Institute (CCI).Inclusivity: We value diversity and maintain an inclusive workplace.Family Support: Enjoy our company parental leave scheme.Employee Benefits: Join the Brickworks Employee Share Plan (for eligible employees).Recognition: Celebrate success with Employee of the Year and Values Recognition Programs.Growth: Ongoing education, training, and career progression opportunities for all employees.Support: Access support programs for you and your family through our EAP provider.Discounts: Product Discounts are provided for staff and family and friends of staff.Who we are:Under the Brickworks Building Products umbrella are some of the world's best-known building material brands.
