The ClientOur client is an automotive vehicle importer, due to launch a range of sophisticated performance models over the coming 1-2 years.
They are currently preparing for the first model to be launched into the Australian market in early 2025.With this highly anticipated brand launch comes the opportunity for an experienced PR Manager / Communications Manager to join this newly formed team.
The RoleSpearhead the Communications function for Australia, the key focus of the role will be to:
Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive communications campaigns (internal and external) to drive engagementDevelop media relationship strategiesIdentify opportunities to enhance the brand, brand reputation and profile in Australia & New ZealandConduct and coordinate both local and international media eventsManage the effective use of social media and digital marketing to optimise business and marketing outcomesThe PersonWe are looking for a strong and confident PR leader who is currently working in a similar role within the automotive or motorsports industry, ideally with previous experience in premium vehicles.Additionally, the successful candidate will also possess:
Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate communications/PR or brandingA high level of self-drive and motivation with an entrepreneurial 'can-do attitude' enabling win-win outcomes in any situationExperience in developing campaigns and engagement programs utilising traditional, digital and social mediaExceptional communication and marketing skills with experience in both B2B and B2C environmentsExperience in developing and integrating multi-channel, integrated campaigns for brand and sales activities.Excellent interpersonal skills, including a track record of supporting colleagues and rolling up your sleeves to get results.A high level of media exposure in terms of launches, events and general PR activities is expected so you should have developed an established and respected reputation amongst the automotive media network.
An advanced level of writing experience would be preferred but not essential.With a young, dynamic and high performing culture this organisation is buzzing with excitement and passion for their brand.
