In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high-quality personalised learning and teaching embedded in the Catholic worldview.
You will also work closely with a stage to support staff and students in learning and behaviour.
As the Literacy Leader, you will be required to work along with the K-2 Instructional Coach to support the holistic delivery of the English curriculum and implementation of the school goal.
Experience leading school communities in Literacy would be an advantage.
The Leader of Learning will fit the following criteria: Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the SchoolEstablish a positive relationship with students, their families, and the broader communityHave a high standard of competency and proficiency as a teacher and be familiar with best practice, especially in developing the skills of studentsDemonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrityDemonstrate knowledge of how to use targeted feedback and data to inform teaching and learning in order to create differentiated teaching programs that cater for the needs of all studentsDemonstrated experience in leading, communicating, and working collaboratively with teams to plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learningDrive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School leading staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellenceBe committed to delivering a child-centred approach to education, where the students are actively engaged in the learningBe committed to ongoing professional learning as a member of a professional learning communityBe willing to contribute to the broader aspects of school lifePrepare students for changing demands of a global community.Applications must include a Cover Letter addressing the position criteria to Principal Leader, Olimpia Pirovic, qualification transcripts, professional experience reports (if applicable), and names of three professional referees, including one from your current Principal.
