The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for a Operations Coordinator to lead the Coffs Harbour Production Team based in Coffs Harbour.
Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.
In this hands-on role, you will be leading and providing guidance to a team of 11 team members at our Coffs Harbour branch.
You will support the team in the operations, scheduling, machine operation, and maintenance.
You'll lead by example, ensuring our products are delivered on time for our customers and your safety and that of the team are never compromised.
What Will You Do?
Leading our production team, you will be:
Leading and supervising our operations area including product scheduling, machine operation, and maintenance.
Promoting a customer-focused culture underpinned with processing accuracy and quality.
Supporting and assisting your team with daily operations.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and mitigate risk - striving for on-time delivery for our customers.
Ensuring safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified.
Growing and mentoring your team for their continued development and success.

As an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to pursue a career in leadership in an operations environment, you will bring:
Experience working within operations, warehousing, or logistics environment.
A current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
Demonstrated ability in motivating and building high-performing teams.
