As a contractor, you'll have the chance to assist our expert teams on existing projects or take the lead on new initiatives, all while contributing to the exciting realm of Web3 development.
Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality software applications using the MERN stack, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.Dive into mobile app development with React Native, expanding your skill set and expertise.Tackle troubleshooting and bug fixing with precision, maintaining seamless project workflows.Champion code quality by creating and implementing unit and integration tests, setting the standard for excellence.Develop and deploy smart contracts using Solidity and Rust.Design and implement blockchain-based applications and protocols.Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to design tasks and deliverables, fostering teamwork and efficiency.The Ideal Candidate ProfileProficient in programming across multiple platforms, with a keen interest in Web3 frameworks.Proven experience with Solidity and Rust for Blockchain development.Intermediate to advanced skills in the MERN stack (Mongo, Express, React, Node), with familiarity in Next.js as a bonus.1-3 years of contracting experience, demonstrating strong communication and time management abilities.Passion for continuous learning and growth, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.Background in IT, Computer Science, or related fields, with relevant coding experience.Valid ABN number and access to a fully functional laptop for remote work.Length of engagement will be based on the project you are assigned to and your availability.
Ideal candidates will work from the Labrys office in Brisbane, though hybrid/remote opportunities will be considered.
