To us, every student is remarkable in the making.Job DescriptionThe role:Applications are invited for appropriately qualified teachers with a track record of achieving strong learning outcomes in the below areas. This is a permanent part-time role commencing Term 1, 2025, timetabled to work Thursdays only.Mandarin (Upper Primary / Lower Secondary)If you are a native Mandarin speaker, there is an option to also pick up an additional 6 hours per week of Mandarin conversation tutorials (timetable TBC), paid at $60/hr.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate:NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Mandarin to native-speaker fluency level.Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice.A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.We offer:Competitive, above-agreement rates of pay.A beautiful harbourside location, easily accessible to Edgecliff station via staff shuttle bus.Onsite car parking or unmetered local street parking.Daily hot & cold lunch menu at a nominal fee.Advanced professional learning facilitated by KITE - the Kambala Institute of Teaching Excellence.Access to pool, gym, and other school facilities.A diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone is free to be their genuine and authentic self.NB - Saturday sport is not a requirement of this role.If you are passionate about modern languages and excited at the prospect of continuing your teaching journey at one of Australia's preeminent independent girls' schools, we look forward to receiving your application directly via this platform.
